Manawatu Wanganui Golf & Country Club

Manawatu Wanganui Golf is a well maintained and challenging classic country course. It has a modern Clubhouse and is an ideal venue for a range of functions.

A challenging but pleasant golf course set on a 110 acre site, it is one of the oldest in New Zealand and boasts many National and Interprovincial tournaments.

Clubhouse

The Clubhouse at Manawatu Wanganui Golf is a modern, well appointed facility which provides superb views of the back nine holes and out to the iconic Wanganui City water tower. It is also a great venue for functions and non golf events.

Originally established in 1894, the Belmont Links is one of New Zealand’s oldest courses and has been host to many national and interprovincial tournaments over the years. It is a fairly flat, tree-lined course which, despite being a bit longer by contemporary standards, still presents a challenging test of skill for golfers of all abilities.

Course

The Belmont Links course at Manawatu Wanganui Golf is a challenging 18 hole, par 70 golf course. This tree-lined & open parkland layout will test your golfing ability and is suitable for all levels of player.

Located on the Belmont Road off State Highway 3 this course is one of New Zealand’s oldest and has played host to many national tournaments over the years. The sand based fairways and a few undulating holes make the Belmont Links a true challenge for any golfer.

The course is rated as one of the top 15 courses in New Zealand and has hosted many important professional and amateur events throughout its long history. Its challenging sand based fairways and undulating greens are a popular choice for golfers of all abilities and will provide you with an enjoyable day out.

Facilities

If you’re looking for a place to play golf with the family, Manawatu Wanganui Golf has plenty to offer. With its park-like fairways, the course runs beside the Manawatu River and is challenging yet accessible.

The club also hosts a variety of tournaments throughout the year, including the New Zealand Open Championships. The club also boasts excellent facilities and a great range of bar and catering options, including a barbecue area and outdoor seating.
