Women's team continue great run

The Manawatu Wanganui Women's Interprovincial team have gone through unbeaten in their first four matches in Napier this week. This morning they take on Otago, and a good win in that match could secure a semi final spot, before their big match against event favourites, Auckland, tomorrow. However no match should be taken lightly, and they must secure a good victory this morning first.

Manawatu Wanganui's record has so far been so good that they have won 18 out of 20 individual matches, with Tara Raj, Zhou Yi Hu, Lisa Herbert and Lily Griffin so far all unbeaten.

So far the team has had victories against Wellington 5 - 0, Hawkes Bay/Poverty Bay 4 - 1, Aorangi 4 - 1, and Taranaki 5 - 0.

Auckland have also been very impressive and have yet to drop an individual match in their 3 wins so far. They have already had a bye, and Manawatu Wanganui have their bye this afternoon.
