Manawatu Golf Club retained the A Grade pennant by winning their final match against Wanganui 9.5 - 2.5 at Taihape on Sunday. Manawatu went through the season unbeaten to claim their 9th title in the last 11 years. Feilding despite losing to Palmerston North 6.5 - 5.5 held on for second place.

Munn the defending champion beat the Canadian Amateur champions James Beale in round one, while McDonald defeated 2014 NZ Amateur champion champion Kaden Neho.

The Manawatu Wanganui team had losses to Wellington 1 and Taranaki, but came back strong with a good win in their final match against Wellington 2.
