The Manawatu Wanganui Golf rep fundraising event sponsored by Tranzit Coachlines and Cross Country Rentals, was held yesterday at the Feilding Golf Club. The weather did threaten to ruin the day, but thankfully the morning rain cleared before tee off, and a couple of showers caused relatively minor discomfort. The Men's Presidents season is now at the final stage, and the two clubs that will be battling it out is Apiti and Taihape. This final will take place at Rangitikei on the 19th June.

The long Castlecliff layout provided a very difficult test for players particularly into the wind, and was a big advantage to the players that had the ability to hit hard, low and straight.
